The slow way vs. the fast way

We are bombarded with information from the day we are born about what the world is supposed to be like.

We are fed perspectives, opinions, prejudices, traditions, theories, facts, and doctrines.

We hope that what we have learned is based in truth.

We go to school to learn the “facts” about nature, science, and the history of the world.

By the time we reach adulthood, our ideas about the world are essentially in place.

When new information comes along, it is only natural that our minds are slow to accept and understand things that don’t fit with previously learned information.

It might be hard to accept if the new information requires us to make some changes in our thinking, especially if it goes against what we’ve been taught.

How do we then make changes in our thinking?

How do we make changes in our behavior?

How do we change ourselves?

Well, there are 2 ways: slow and fast.

The slow way

THE SLOW WAY is about using our willpower.

Doing our best to change our thoughts, behaviors and habits into what we want.

Using your conscious mind to change your conscious mind.

The fast way

THE FAST WAY is about using your unconscious mind.

Bypassing your critical thinking, bypassing your conscious mind.

Installing the new thought and behavioral patterns directly into your mind.

No willpower is needed in this case.

Things change rapidly and they tend to last.

Why do I use hypnosis for changing myself and my clients?

Because I want the fast way.

And so do my clients.

I'm not saying that the fast way is better than the slow way.

I'm saying that it's better for me and for my clients.

You make your own decision about what is important for you.
